Hampstead School Cross Country on May 8th.

There was lots of waiting but we cheered
the runners on.

These runners all did 2 laps of the course.
Well done team.

Gemma did two laps. A great effort Gemma.

Dion came 4th in the 3 lap County possibility race.

Jessyca was the only girl from Room 7 to do the serious 3 lap race.
We were proud of your dedication to this Jessyca.

Mina's Certificate

Mina got Mr Melrose's student of the week award at Assembly April 27.
 She was proud of her efforts. Her Dad came to see her get the award.

ANZAC

Last week we were studying ANZAC and how the Gallipoli Campaign went. We watched videos and read articles and stories about it. On Friday we had a special assembly. Some of the Butterick family came. They had given the school the 'Dead Man,s Penny' which was given to their family.

Graham Braddock Art Show

The hall was silent as 89 Year 5 and Year 6 students concentrated on doing the best drawings they could. We learnt about vanishing points, horizons and how shapes look different from different places. We all see things differently.
